A meaningful festival

Christmas is one of the crucial festivals to all Christian countries. It is said that on December 25, the three wise men was guided by a star. They followed the bright star and found a manger where Jesus was born. Since then, everyone has regarded December 25 as Christmas, a blessing day from the god.

To Chinese people, Christmas is not really a festival. However, as time pass… it becomes more important. All the shops make a Christmas discount and people would like to spend time celebrating it.

As far as I’m concerned, Christmas is a day that I can share happiness to my friends. We can have a feast, and exchange little presents to each other. This year, I bought a candy box and share it with the whole class. I also received some chocolate bars and candy from my classmates. It was warm and fragrant!

My senior high school is going to have a Christmas party on 12/21. It has many performances which are prepared by all Unions. What's more? The school invite the hot band "Soda green" to have a live show. I enjoy their music very much! Therefore, I will be on time on that day.

Anyone who pass GEPT "High Intermediate" test can get the prize from each department. After waiting for a few weeks, May and I finally got it last Friday! In the begining, we thought we could only get $1,200 each. However, actually...we got more! Both of us were so happy that we couldn't help but laugh.

Christmas is coming soon, and the big prize is just like a present that is full of blessing. I would like to save it up and keep enhanceing my English ability. When I'm in my third year of university, I hope I can take "TOEIC" test to see how well my English is. Good luck to me! ^^

Lee-Hung had a violin performance for the opening of the awarding ceremony. Although he wasn't nominated as the best new actor this time, he is still outstanding.
